29 Weeks! Just 71 days left!

Another week has gone by in a flash! I cannot believe that we are just 10 weeks and 1 day away from my due date! Time just flies by.

We had a very productive week around the house this week.
I put together a daybed for our office, so now we have another place for visitors to sleep/hang out. And after two years of having a half functional office in both of our homes we finally have a functional office that we both love! And brad even got to put up some OSU decorations, the theme of the whole room will be orange black and white! i just have to find some orange bedding.

 Kaya thought the bed was for her before i even finsihed putting the drawers together!

I  got a dresser for Adriennes room, its just going to go in the closet so we have some extra clothes storage. And i arranged to nursery to be exactly how i want it.. for now at least. And i but some girly bedding in the bassinet!

We ordered the bedding, which should come in middle of next week! And after its here we will get to order paint and paint the nursery!

I bought her a little decoration for the nursery and some other cute stuff! (im really excited about the two big bows and little shoes).

And we got a few more adorable gifts from friends

These sweaters were hand made by the grandmother of one of my friends from work! she mailed them to us all the way from new york! it was a very sweet gift and they are adorable sweaters.

I also worked very diligently on finishing a shelf that i built for our DVD's to replace the ugly old wal mart black ones that we used to have and it is nearly finished.

And for updated pictures from a few weeks ago, i made some new wine bottle decorations which we love! 

How many weeks: 29 weeks and 6 days today. 
This week baby is...... about 15.5 inches. 
This week our baby weighs..... 2.75 Lbs. She starts to gain approximately 1/2 lb each week from here on. She will be getting big fast! 
This week  baby girl.....is starting to acumulate fat and grow out of that skinny little skeleton into a hopefully big little girl! everything from here on out will mostly be focused on gaining weight, getting slightly taller, and giving those lungs plenty of time to be developed.

Total weight gain/ loss: +20 ish.

Maternity Clothes: Definitely in maternity clothes now.
Best moment this week:lots of movement! she is getting big enough now that you can really feel and see her move when she is active.
Food cravings: just sweets, i think that pregnancy is really just an excuse to crave things that you already want anyways and normally wouldnt justify eating... and i am sure that that is the real reason why i want sweets all the time.
Miss anything?: Sushi!!everything else i have seemed to find an adequate substitute for but nothing can replace sushi!
Anything making you sick: Nope
Pregnancy symptoms I dont really have too much to complain about
Movement: yep. She moves around like crazy all the time. We are hoping that she will  make a giant roll soon and put her head down! its time for her to start getting ready.
Gender prediction: It's a Girl!
We call our baby:  Adrienne Elizabeth Gochnauer is her name!
Looking forward to: Some much needed leave in a couple weeks and our baby showers!
Soon to be daddy is....very excited for his daughter to be born! As the date gets closer and she has started moving more in my tummy he is growing increasingly excited to meet her and see he! He has been very kind in tolerating all of my nesting and has helped me accomplish pretty much all of the goals i had set to accomplish around the house.

28 Weeks, Third Trimester!!

I know i missed week 27... i feel bad but this one will be a long one.
In the past two weeks a lot has happened. Brad and i attended 2 weedings of great friends, finally comitted to a nursery decorating theme, got lots more cute presents, and made some much needed progress on the house.

On July 6th we celebrated the marriage of Travis and Kelly Hider in Mcminville, OR. Brad is good friends with travis from college. It was a beautiful ceremony and we celebrated the next weekend with Ashley and Michael Caputo, another fraternity friend from college. Both weddings were a lot of fun and very gorgeous. And we caught up with some friends that we have seen in a while.

And in the meantime while we were at home we continued to work, work on the house, and make some progress on the baby room. After ordering the bedding set i originally wanted i decided that i didnt like that set, returned it and have since chosen a new set which we still have to order.

We have also been blessed with some wonderful gifts in the past couple of weeks, my parents sent us the pack and play (which i dont have a picture of because it hasnt come out of the box yet). We are very excited about this gift because we think it will come in very handy on trips to oregon. We also got a wonderful gift from our good friend Jessica, the Rocking Chair!! I set it up in the nursery this week and found it to be very comfortable and cute! And we got some more cute clothes.... so needless to say. Time has gone by fast and Adrienne's arrival seems to be rapidly approaching! 

How many weeks: 28 weeks and 5 days today. 
This week baby is...... about 15 inches. 
This week our baby weighs..... 2.5 Lbs. She probably weighs just about 2.5 pounds if she is maintaing a steady growth rate like she has been for the past 6 weeks or so. 
This week  baby girl.....is starting to blink!! Can hear better and see more light! She is also starting to respond to people touching my stomach. sometimes by running away and others by kicking/rolling.
 Boy or girl? GIRL!!!
Total weight gain/ loss: +20 ish.

Maternity Clothes: Definitely in maternity clothes now.
Best moment this week: Brad says the best moment this week is her kicking and him getting to feel it, this is becoming a more and more frequent occurrence and Brad is growing very fond of her little movements. 
Have you told family/ friends: i think most people know at this point!

Soon to be daddy is....very excited for his daughter to be born! As the date gets closer and she has started moving more in my tummy he is growing increasingly excited to meet her and see her punch and kick. He said today that he wants her to be born so her can see her move rather than just feel her punch him through my stomach. He will have to be patient for a while longer but time had flown by and we are both feeling more and more ready everyday.
